### Ohio State Secures Eighth Straight Win Over Penn State in Pivotal Big Ten Clash

Ohio State's defense showcased its dominance once again, stifling Penn State's offense for a second consecutive year and leading the Buckeyes to a hard-fought victory. The game ended in thrilling fashion as Ohio State successfully ran out the final 5 minutes and 13 seconds of the clock, spearheaded by former Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins.

Judkins played a crucial role in this closing sequence, initially helping secure two first downs with three consecutive rushes. His crucial block on third down allowed QB Will Howard to rush for another first down just before the two-minute warning. Howard, originally from Pennsylvania, ensured the victory with yet another third-down conversion, effectively sealing the game.

Earlier in the match, Judkins was involved in a controversial replay review during a drive that extended Ohio State's lead to seven points. He appeared to catch a pass from Howard and fumble upon being hit, but the officials, after a thorough review, ruled that Judkins did not have enough time to establish possession.

If the fumble call had stood, Penn State would have gained excellent field position deep in Ohio State territory. Instead, Ohio State capitalized on the next play as Howard connected with freshman Jeremiah Smith for a 14-yard gain, followed by a field goal from Jayden Fielding. This victory marks Ohio State's eighth consecutive triumph over Penn State, dropping Penn State coach James Franklin's record to 1-10 against the Buckeyes. A visibly frustrated Franklin had a confrontational exchange with a heckling fan as he left the field.

The game saw multiple turnovers, especially in the first half, dramatically shaping its course. Penn State initially led 10-0 thanks to a 31-yard interception return by CB Zion Tracy. But Ohio State responded, and despite a questionable taunting penalty aiding their resurgence, they managed to secure a 14-10 lead.

Will Howard's attempt to extend the lead further backfired as he fumbled the ball just short of the end zone in the second quarter, resulting in a touchback after review. Penn State failed to capitalize on this opportunity and then suffered another setback with an incredible interception by Ohio State's Davison Igbinosun at the end of the first half.

The playoff and Big Ten title race implications are significant. With only Indiana and Oregon undefeated in Big Ten play, Ohio State and Indiana’s upcoming clash on November 23 could determine who faces Oregon in the Big Ten title game. Penn State, needing assistance, still has the potential for a strong playoff position with upcoming games against Washington, Purdue, Minnesota, and Maryland. A strong finish could ensure a home game in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
