Another lawsuit claiming serious sexual assault has been lodged against Sean "Diddy" Combs, the imprisoned performer and producer, just a week after he pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and other charges. The complaint, filed in federal court in New York by Thalia Graves, accuses Combs and his bodyguard of violently raping her at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City in the summer of 2001. The suit details how Combs exploited a relationship Graves had with one of his employees to lure her into a meeting where she was drugged and restrained during the assault.

Graves, who was 25 at the time of the alleged attack, states that she was threatened by both Combs and his bodyguard over the years to keep silent about the assault or risk losing custody of her son. The lawsuit also reveals that Combs and his bodyguard had video-recorded the assault and shared the footage with others to humiliate Graves and her boyfriend. This revelation caused Graves to suffer a relapse in her healing process, plunging her into a deep depression and thoughts of self-harm.

Attorney Gloria Allred held a press conference in Los Angeles with Graves, where Graves spoke about the shame and guilt she has felt as a result of the assault. Despite giving a statement, Graves did not address questions about the lawsuit or the incident with Combs. Allred was hesitant to reveal whether Graves' legal team had contacted federal prosecutors in Combs' criminal case or if other victims had come forward. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and demands that Combs and his bodyguard destroy all copies of the assault footage.
