" Gunter's initiative aims to address the economic impact caused by illegal immigrants on small businesses across the country.

Gunter plans to invest $1 million of his own money into the initiative, which is still in its preliminary stage. The funds will be utilized to develop a website and reporting mechanism to allow citizens to report suspicious activities. Additionally, an advertisement campaign will be launched to raise awareness about the initiative in Nevada and attract more supporters.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Gunter stated that he cannot stand idly by while communities are being destroyed by the influx of illegal immigrants. He criticized President Biden, Democrats, and "RINOs" for failing to secure the nation's borders and vowed to take action himself. Gunter emphasized that his commitment to the initiative, both financially and personally, underscores his dedication to national security and the rule of law.

Key components of Gunter's initiative include working with local businesses to identify illegal immigrants negatively impacting their operations and passing that information to the Department of Homeland Security for immediate action. The initiative also aims to form partnerships with small businesses to assess and mitigate the impact of illegal immigration on their operations. A "See Something, Say Something" campaign will empower citizens to report suspicious activities through a dedicated tip line in support of law enforcement efforts.

If elected, Gunter promises to prioritize shutting the border, enhancing border surveillance, cracking down on sanctuary cities and states, and ending birthright citizenship. He stated that he would work to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy for asylum seekers and Title 42, a policy implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic to turn away migrants at the border due to health concerns.

Gunter stressed that the individuals arriving illegally from countries like China are not just immigrants but invaders. He expressed the need to keep America safe by implementing strong border security measures.

The $1 million investment in Gunter's initiative comes after his previous announcement to spend millions on ramping up his Senate campaign. Gunter is currently competing with former U.S. Army Captain Sam Brown for the Republican nomination and the opportunity to challenge incumbent Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen in November.

In response to Gunter's initiative, Senator Rosen's campaign spokesperson, Johanna Warshaw, highlighted Rosen's bipartisan record and her commitment to delivering for Nevadans. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), which supports Brown, criticized Gunter, claiming that he is a Democrat who recently moved to Nevada from California and will side with President Biden on opening the border rather than securing it.

As the battle for the Nevada Senate seat intensifies, Gunter's initiative to address the southern border crisis and his substantial investment aim to provide voters with a strong impression of his commitment to national security and addressing the concerns of small businesses impacted by illegal immigration.
