The data, covering the six months up until December 2023, showcases both the popularity of highly anticipated releases and the comparatively lower viewership of certain projects.

One such project is the spinoff series "Human Resources" season 2, which garnered approximately 2.5 million views since its premiere on June 9, 2023. Although the show had a strong start with around 3.7 million views in its initial three weeks, it experienced a decline in audience engagement over the next six months.

Another series that failed to gain significant traction was "Working: What We Do All Day," a docuseries produced by the Obamas' Higher Ground Productions. Despite featuring former President Obama as a narrator and interviewer, the show accumulated only 1 million views since its release on May 17, 2023, with 2.3 million views within the first six weeks.

Netflix's attempt to break into the realm of live sports with "The Netflix Cup" also saw modest viewership numbers. The highly anticipated golf match featuring PGA Tour pros and Formula 1 drivers garnered only 700,000 views worldwide during its live debut and the subsequent six weeks. This pales in comparison to other sports-related content such as "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" season five, which accumulated 2 million views, and "Full Swing," a PGA-focused series with 800,000 views.

The animated series "Mulligan," executive produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, struggled to find a significant audience. With Tina Fey providing her voice talents, the show managed to amass around 2.1 million views in its first seven weeks, but it never climbed the ranks to become a top contender.

Meanwhile, the inspirational documentary series "Heart of Invictus" premiered on August 30, 2023, attracting a smaller audience of 300,000 views during the six-month period. Although its viewership was relatively low, the production showcased remarkable stories of individuals overcoming adversity in pursuit of greatness.

In contrast to the aforementioned projects, certain titles achieved remarkable success during the second half of 2023. "Leave the World Behind," a thrilling movie starring Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Mahershala Ali, captured the attention of audiences worldwide with a staggering 121 million views within its first 91 days of release. It currently stands as the fifth most popular movie in Netflix's history.

The Japanese anime series "One Piece" also attracted a considerable following, accumulating 71.6 million views since its premiere on August 31, 2023. Additionally, the English-language series "Wednesday" maintained a strong viewership, with 23.9 million views, securing its place among the top 30 shows a year after its debut.

Lastly, the spy thriller "The Night Agent," created by Shawn Ryan, continued its success in the second half of 2023. Having achieved the title of the most-watched content during the first six months of the year, the series maintained its position among the top 50 shows.

As Netflix provides a comprehensive overview of viewership statistics, it becomes evident that certain projects may struggle to capture audience attention, while others manage to exceed expectations. The streaming giant's vast library continues to offer a diverse range of content catering to various viewer preferences.
