Grove City College announced the exciting news on Thursday, with Pence expressing his joy at being on campus and interacting with President Paul McNulty and the college's students. The Center for Faith & Public Life aims to explore and support the integration of Christian faith in public institutions. As a visiting fellow, Pence will play a crucial role in this endeavor. In a statement, Pence expressed his honor to be associated with Grove City College's new center and emphasized that faith and engaging in public life should not be mutually exclusive.

He lauded the college's commitment to sending out young individuals who embody integrity and principled leadership, acting as beacons of light and truth in today's world.
President Paul J. McNulty spoke highly of Pence's appointment, noting that faith's appropriate role in the public sphere is a crucial issue in American life. The college hailed Pence as one of America's foremost Christian political leaders, highlighting how his deep-rooted faith has guided him throughout his career. It emphasized that Pence's extensive experience as a public servant, serving in Congress, as governor of Indiana, and during his tenure as vice president under Donald Trump, will greatly benefit the Center for Faith & Public Life.
Pence's role at Grove City College will involve teaching a course alongside President McNulty, as well as engaging with students through writing and speaking engagements. The school also mentioned that Pence will participate in various events organized by the college.
Since leaving office, Pence has remained active both as an author and a political figure. He recently wrote a book titled "So Help Me God" and initially ran for the Republican nomination in the 2024 presidential election. However, he has since suspended his campaign.
