### Melania Trump Defends Husband Against Allegations of Praising Hitler

Former first lady Melania Trump has refuted allegations that her husband, Donald Trump, expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler. The allegations, made by former White House chief of staff John Kelly, were reported by various media outlets. Melania joined Fox & Friends on Tuesday, categorically dismissing the claims.

Adding fuel to the controversy, the Democratic National Committee projected the phrase "Trump praised Hitler" on the exterior of Madison Square Garden during a rally attended by the Trumps in New York. Melania responded to this, saying, "It's terrible. He's not Hitler."

The allegations also came up during a CNN town hall on Wednesday, where Vice President Kamala Harris labeled Donald Trump a "fascist." In his interviews, John Kelly agreed with this characterization, stating that the GOP nominee fits the general definition of one. However, the former president rebuffed the accusations on Fox News Thursday, saying, "Couldn't be further from the truth. It's just the opposite, actually."

Despite the contentious rhetoric surrounding the allegations, Melania Trump mentioned that the Trump family remains optimistic as Election Day approaches on November 5. She compared the atmosphere of this campaign to that of 2016, noting a sense of familiarity, albeit with heightened intensity marked by two assassination attempts.
