In a recent development, Thalia Graves has come forward accusing music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and his former bodyguard of drugging, binding, and raping her, with the alleged assault recorded and potentially sold as pornography. This marks the 11th sexual assault accusation against Combs, who is already facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. Graves tearfully recounted the ordeal in a press conference in Los Angeles, expressing the internal pain she has endured since the alleged attack at Combs' Daddy's House recording studio in New York City in 2001.
According to court documents, Graves, who had a connection to Combs through her then-boyfriend, alleges that Combs had orchestrated a meeting under the guise of discussing her boyfriend's work performance. After accepting a drink from Combs, she felt lightheaded and weak, eventually losing consciousness upon reaching the recording studio. When she woke up, Graves claims she was naked, bound, and subjected to a violent assault by Combs, leading to severe physical and emotional trauma.
The lawsuit further details that Graves was allegedly threatened to silence about the assault by Combs and his bodyguard, causing her to live in constant fear and emotional distress. She reported the harrowing incident to close friends and later learned that the assault had been recorded and circulated. The lawsuit implicates Combs, his bodyguard, and eight of Combs' companies under gender-motivated violence and civil rights laws for the alleged assault and distribution of the sex tape, shedding light on a disturbing pattern of behavior within the music industry.
