### Knocked Loose Shines on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Wraps Up Their Best Year Yet
In a thrilling performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, hardcore band Knocked Loose teamed up with genre-bending artist Poppy to showcase their Grammy-nominated track "Suffocate." The powerful performance capped off an incredible year for Knocked Loose.
The Kentucky-based band made waves in 2024 after riding the momentum from their viral TikTok fame and an electrifying appearance at Coachella in 2023. The year began with a tour across the UK and Europe, supported by Deafheaven, a band known for its unique blend of black metal and shoegaze. Following that, Knocked Loose embarked on a North American tour alongside Show Me The Body and Loathe.
Earlier this year, Knocked Loose released their latest album, "You Won't Go When You're Supposed To," under Pure Noise Records on May 10. The album has been met with critical acclaim, with Metal Hammer’s Stephen Hill giving it an impressive 4.5-star rating and describing it as the band's heaviest, most punishing and destructive work yet.
The band's track "Suffocate" has earned a nomination for the 2025 Grammy Awards in the Best Metal Performance category. They face tough competition from industry giants such as Metallica, Judas Priest, Gojira, and Spiritbox. The winner will be announced at the Grammy ceremony in Los Angeles on February 2.
Looking ahead, Knocked Loose will continue their momentum into 2025 with another European and UK tour in March. This tour will feature special guests Basement, Harm's Way, and Pest Control, promising to deliver even more unforgettable performances for their fans.
