### Jimmy Kimmel Responds to Elon Musk's Insult with Sharp Jabs
During the recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the talk show host fired back at Elon Musk after learning that the tech mogul had labelled him as an "insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet" on social media. Kimmel didn’t hold back, hitting back with a pointed retort, "At least my children like me!" This comment was a direct reference to criticisms Musk's transgender daughter, Vivian, has publicly expressed about her father.
Kimmel continued his tirade by challenging Musk’s credibility, taking aim at his purchase of Twitter. "The guy who paid people a million dollars a day to vote for Donald Trump is calling me a propaganda puppet? Listen, Kermit, you bought Twitter. You bought a social media platform that's literally a propaganda machine," he said, emphasizing the irony in Musk's remark.
The comedian further noted that if he had "spent two weeks trying to come up with a four-word description of Elon Musk," he couldn’t have done better than "insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet." Kimmel illustrated Musk's willingness to support Trump's 2024 presidential bid, referencing a 2022 post by Trump on Truth Social, where the former president criticized Musk.
"When Elon Musk came to the White House asking for help on his many subsidized projects — whether it's electric cars, driverless cars, or rockets — without which subsidies he'd be worthless, and then telling me he was a big Trump fan and Republican," Trump wrote. He also mentioned that Musk would have been willing to "drop to your knees and beg" for assistance.
Kimmel ended his segment with a tongue-in-cheek remark, "You know what he means by 'beg,' right? I'm sure you guys would be great together. I'm sure his little hand will fit nicely in your sock hole."
Entertainment Weekly has approached Musk’s representatives for comment, and reactions to Musk's support for Trump have been diverse, particularly among celebrities. Notably, the ladies of The View have also spotlighted issues with Musk's approach as the election draws near. For more details, viewers can watch Kimmel's full address to Musk in the episode’s video.
