**Jay Leno Recovering After 60-Foot Fall in Pittsburgh**

Veteran comedian Jay Leno is on the road to recovery following a dramatic 60-foot fall down a hill in Pittsburgh. The former host of "The Tonight Show," 74, was injured on November 16 after hitting his head on a rock at the bottom of a hill outside a hotel.

Leno, who was in Pittsburgh for a performance, faced the mishap while attempting to walk to a nearby restaurant without a car. "The hill didn't look that steep," Leno recounted. "I thought I could make it down, but I ended up rolling down, hitting my head, and injuring my face."

Remarkably, despite the injuries which included a broken wrist, a missing fingernail, and severe bruising on the left side of his body, Leno managed to perform that same evening at Yaamava' Casino in Southern California. He delayed seeking medical attention until he returned to Los Angeles.

Sporting visible facial injuries, Leno was seen in Los Angeles days later. He was wearing an eye patch, with one eye swollen shut and his face black and blue from the fall.

This incident comes almost a year after Leno suffered severe burns from a gasoline fire while working on a steam engine in his garage in November 2022. The fire caused second- and third-degree burns on his face, chest, and hands, leading to multiple surgeries and a ten-day stay at the Grossman Burn Center.

Reflecting on his repeated mishaps, Leno humorously remarked, "The great thing about this age is you don't learn by your mistakes, you just keep doing the same stupid thing." Despite these setbacks, Leno's resilience and commitment to his craft remain unshaken.
