### Israeli Military Denies Striking Gaza Clinic During Polio Vaccination Campaign

In the midst of ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, allegations have surfaced regarding an incident at a clinic in northern Gaza. On November 4, the Israeli military refuted claims that it had targeted the Sheikh Radwan clinic while Palestinian children were receiving polio vaccinations there.

According to a statement issued by the Gaza health ministry on Saturday, Israeli fire had hit the clinic during a designated humanitarian pause intended for the vaccination campaign. This explosion reportedly resulted in injuries to four children who were present for their vaccinations.

The Israeli military responded by stating that their forces had not conducted any strikes in the area during the reported timeframe. "Contrary to the claims, an initial review determined that the IDF did not strike in the area at the specified time," the military confirmed.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization (WHO), expressed concern over the incident, noting that it occurred shortly after a WHO team had visited the clinic. He emphasized that the situation had jeopardized a critical health initiative designed to protect children from polio.

In related accusations, the Israeli military accused Hamas of operating within civilian zones to use individuals as human shields. Hamas has consistently denied these allegations.
