**IAF Eliminates Hezbollah Deputy Commander in Southern Lebanon Raids**

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has successfully eliminated Naser Abed al-Aziz Rashid, the Deputy Commander of Hezbollah's Bint Jbeil region, during operations on Friday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Saturday morning. Rashid had been instrumental in orchestrating terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians from his strategic position in southern Lebanon.

The IDF reported a series of localized raids and targeted strikes that resulted in the dismantling of multiple Hezbollah weaponry and infrastructure in southern Lebanon. A notable target was the destruction of a "Kornet" anti-tank missile launcher poised to strike northern Israeli communities. Despite Hezbollah militants launching rockets at IDF soldiers involved in these operations, no injuries were reported. The IAF promptly responded by destroying the rocket launcher responsible for the attack.

Continuing their campaign, IDF officials confirmed that the 7th Brigade had located and demolished over 120 terrorist structures, several tunnel shafts, and more than 20 weapon stockpiles. The IAF also struck numerous terrorist sites in the area. Among the critical achievements was the neutralization of a Hezbollah combat compound placed within a school in a Lebanese village. This compound harbored RPG missiles, weapons, and other combat equipment.

Additional operations saw the discovery and destruction of weapons caches hidden in a wooded area, left behind by fleeing Hezbollah operatives. On the southern front in Gaza, IDF troops eliminated two terrorist cells in the Rafah area, engaging in deadly exchanges of fire. Further confrontations in the Jabalya area resulted in the elimination of several terrorists through close-quarters combat and IAF strikes.

This series of targeted operations highlights the IDF's continued efforts to thwart threats from Hezbollah and other militant groups, ensuring the security and sovereignty of Israel.
