In a recent interview, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' (IRGC) Aerospace Division, revealed that only a small portion of Iran's available military resources were deployed during the retaliatory airstrikes against Israel last month.

During the operation, known as "Operation True Promise," Brigadier General Hajizadeh stated that the United States, Britain, and France came to Israel's aid in an attempt to defend against Iran's attacks. However, despite facing powerful adversaries, Iran chose to conserve its military capabilities and utilized only 20 percent of its prepared resources to take action against the Israeli regime.

Brigadier General Hajizadeh highlighted that Israel mobilized its entire military arsenal to counter Iran's strikes, with substantial support from the US, which deployed its aircraft, cruisers, and aircraft carriers. This comes despite previous claims by the US that it had no intention to intervene in the conflict.

While Iran did not utilize its full military potential, Israel and its allies utilized all available resources to counter Iran's actions. This revelation emphasizes the determination of Iranian forces and the wise guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as instrumental factors in the success of the operation.

The operation, which took place on April 13, involved a multi-pronged attack by Iran, deploying hundreds of drones and missiles towards occupied territories. The strikes were launched in response to the Israeli regime's aggression on the Iranian diplomatic premises in Damascus on April 1, resulting in the deaths of two generals of the IRGC's Quds Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, along with five accompanying officers.

The international community widely condemned the Israeli regime's aggression on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria. Brigadier General Hajizadeh noted that the operation showcased only a fraction of Iran's military capabilities, leaving many untold points about its true prowess.

The revelations from Brigadier General Hajizadeh shed light on the measured approach Iran took during the retaliatory strikes against Israel, demonstrating the country's ability to defend its interests whilst carefully managing its military resources.
