**Lancaster County Confirms Fraudulent Election Applications Amid Ongoing Investigation**

Lancaster County officials have provided new insights into a probe concerning 2,500 flagged voter registration and mail-in ballot applications. According to Lancaster County Commissioner Ray D'Agostino, a majority of these applications, about 57%, have been verified as legitimate. However, 17% were found to be fraudulent, while the remaining 26% are either incomplete or unverified and remain under investigation.

The inquiry began when election workers noticed discrepancies in the applications, including fake names, duplicated handwriting, and incorrect identifying information. The local District Attorney's Office and the Lancaster County Board of Elections, along with the Pennsylvania Department of State and the state attorney general's office, were immediately alerted and have since been closely examining the flagged applications.

This update follows a similar case in Monroe County, where officials are looking into around 30 suspicious voter registration and mail-in ballot applications.
