### Wrong-Way Driver Nearly Hits Vice President Kamala Harris' Motorcade in Milwaukee

In a startling incident on Monday night, a driver suspected of being intoxicated narrowly missed Vice President Kamala Harris' motorcade in Milwaukee. According to WISN 12, the 55-year-old local resident drove onto the wrong side of Interstate 794 from an exit ramp at St. Paul Avenue, coming dangerously close to the Democratic nominee and her convoy.

Video footage reveals that the driver veered into the left lane just as the first vehicle in Harris' motorcade passed him, followed by over a dozen other cars, including one transporting the Vice President to the airport. The final vehicle in the motorcade, operated by a Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy, managed to pull the wrong-way driver over and detain him after he failed several field sobriety tests.

The arrest report indicated that the man appeared confused and had no memory of entering the freeway or nearly hitting another vehicle. He expressed surprise when informed that he had almost collided with a car in the Vice President's motorcade and had no intention of harming Harris or anyone associated with her campaign. An open beer can was also discovered in his car.

Charged with drunk driving and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, the man was taken into custody without bail. The Secret Service acknowledged the incident and extended their gratitude to the sheriff's office for the prompt arrest.
