### Kendre Harrison Chooses Oregon for Dual-Sport Ambitions
Reidsville, N.C. – Talented tight end Kendre Harrison, a standout in the 2026 class, has made a groundbreaking decision to commit to the University of Oregon. Notably proficient in both football and basketball, the 6-foot-6, 250-pound five-star recruit turned down offers from several prestigious programs, including Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, and Tennessee.
Harrison, ranked 15th in the On3 Industry Ranking, felt a strong pull towards Oregon after a visit for their game against Ohio State. Initially, his recruitment saw lead shifts between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Tennessee Volunteers. However, his trip to Eugene became a pivotal moment in his decision-making process.
"After I was out there for that game, I would say I was about 80% sure I was going to Oregon," Harrison revealed in an interview with On3. "That visit made a big impact on me. I thought about it for a couple more weeks and knew it was Oregon. About two weeks after I got back from that game, my mind was made up."
The atmosphere at the Ohio State game left a lasting impression on Harrison. He remarked, "The atmosphere was insane at the Ohio State game. The fans, the play of the tight ends, and the coaching of the team were some of the highlights."
With his commitment to Oregon, Harrison is set to make his mark not only on the football field but also on the basketball court, reflecting his versatile athletic prowess.
