In a stern warning to Israel, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared that the Lebanese front would not cease its operations until the aggression on Gaza comes to an end. Nasrallah addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the entire Israeli establishment, stating that the resistance in Lebanon would continue to support Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices or consequences.

Nasrallah acknowledged that Hezbollah had suffered significant blows due to recent attacks, referring to them as "unprecedented" in their impact on security and humanity. He emphasized that such setbacks would not deter the group's determination. The Hezbollah leader hinted at possible retaliation, stating that it is the nature of war for both sides to strike and counterstrike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it is targeting Hezbollah in order to degrade their infrastructure and capabilities as part of their ongoing operations in Lebanon. The IDF accused Hezbollah of weaponizing civilian homes, creating tunnels beneath them, and using civilians as human shields, which has turned southern Lebanon into a war zone.

CNN reporters witnessed the tension escalate further as an Israeli military jet flew over Beirut, dropping what appeared to be flares during Nasrallah's speech. Nasrallah strongly condemned these attacks, labeling them as "massacres" and adding them to the long list of deadly acts committed by Israel. He highlighted the indiscriminate nature of the attacks, which targeted public areas and caused harm to both civilians and Hezbollah members.

Meanwhile, the IDF's top commander, Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, has completed approval of plans for the northern arena, signaling potential escalation in cross-border tensions with Hezbollah. Israel's defense minister, Yoav Gallant, has also declared a "new era" in Israel's war efforts, with the center of gravity shifting towards the north.

Nasrallah commenced his speech by acknowledging the swift response and unity of the Lebanese government, medical services, and emergency personnel following the recent attacks. He expressed gratitude for their efforts in the aftermath of the incidents.

In a separate development, a senior adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly presented a proposed ceasefire and hostage deal with Hamas to US President Joe Biden's administration. This move echoes ongoing diplomatic efforts to find a resolution to the conflict.

As tensions remain high, both Israel and Hezbollah continue to assert their positions, leaving the situation in the region uncertain and the potential for further violence looming. The international community closely watches the developments, hoping for a swift end to the hostilities and a return to stability.
