In a strongly worded statement, Hamas, the Palestinian militia controlling Gaza, criticized the United States House of Representatives for passing a $95 billion aid package that includes substantial funding for Israel. The bill, which also allocates funds for Ukraine and Taiwan, was passed on Saturday with the support of House Speaker Mike Johnson.
Hamas stated that the passage of this aid package is a confirmation of the United States' complicity and partnership in what they describe as a "war of extermination" being carried out by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli forces have allegedly killed a total of 34,097 individuals since October 7, with an additional 76,980 people injured. Hamas has labeled these actions as a systematic destruction of cities, residential neighborhoods, and civil facilities and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian militia further states that the current administration of President Joe Biden, a Democrat, bears political, legal, and moral responsibility for the alleged war crimes committed by Israel. Hamas argues that U.S. support for Israel violates international law.
In a shocking revelation, Hamas announced the discovery of an alleged mass grave within the Nasser Medical Complex. The grave is said to contain hundreds of bodies of various ages that were allegedly "executed in cold blood and buried" by Israeli troops within the hospital's courtyards. Hamas claims that this finding, along with other mass graves found in hospital courtyards, raises questions about the fate of thousands of Palestinians who are still missing.
Hamas strongly condemns what they perceive as horrific crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army, including the mass killings of defenseless civilians, including children, women, and the elderly in hospitals, shelters, displacement centers, tents, and residential neighborhoods. They argue that such acts would not be possible without the unlimited political and military support from the U.S. administration of President Biden.
The passage of this aid package has garnered substantial attention and criticism, fueling the ongoing debate regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the role of international players in the region.
