### Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted in Midtown Atlanta After Gunman Incident

In Midtown Atlanta, a tense situation at the Four Seasons Hotel has been resolved, with the suspect now in custody and the shelter-in-place order lifted. The chaotic scene unfolded on Tuesday after police responded to a call about a barricaded gunman at the hotel located on 14th Street.

The call, which came in the afternoon, prompted a swift and heavy presence of law enforcement officers. The Four Seasons Hotel, situated near Piedmont Park and close to the Colony Square shopping mall, became the focal point of an intensive police investigation.

Atlanta Police Department officials advised residents and citizens near the Four Seasons Hotel to avoid windows and rooms facing the scene. Officers established a secure perimeter and directed residents to steer clear of 12th Street/13 Street, W Peachtree St, Crescent St, Peachtree St, and Peachtree Walk. Multiple roads in the vicinity were closed to facilitate the investigation.

The situation was closely monitored from the air, with the 11Alive Skytracker capturing images of several police patrol vehicles stationed outside the hotel's main entrance. On the ground, 11Alive's Cody Alcorn reported the sound of multiple gunshots and observed snipers positioned in surrounding buildings.

As the incident drew to a close, it remained unclear if anyone had been injured. The resolution of the situation brought relief to residents and authorities as normalcy began to return to Midtown Atlanta.
