In a recent development, Gold Star mother Jaclyn Schmitz has voiced her disappointment and frustration towards the Biden-Harris administration for refusing her and other Gold Star parents' invitation to honor their deceased children in a memorial ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Schmitz, whose son made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the country, has criticized the administration for what she perceives as a lack of acknowledgement and support.

Expressing her dismay, Schmitz stated, "It's just another spit in the face, another slap in the face. I'm absolutely so frustrated with this administration." Schmitz further highlighted her disappointment in the administration's failure to even acknowledge that their children died while on duty during their watch. She also criticized the administration for accusing former President Donald Trump of politicizing the issue, emphasizing that it was the families themselves who had extended the invitation to him.

The Gold Star mother revealed that the families were deeply upset when they learned about the controversy surrounding Trump's visit. Even though the White House, President Biden, and Vice President Harris were also invited to the memorial, they chose not to attend, adding to the disheartenment felt by the Gold Star parents.

When asked if she had heard from either President Biden or Vice President Harris since assuming office, Schmitz shared that she had not received any outreach from either of them. "We have never heard from either one of them," she expressed. "Ever. In the entire three years since our kids were killed by their administration. And what he said during the debate was even more of a gut punch."

As of now, the Harris campaign has not responded to a request for comment regarding this matter from Fox News Digital.

The refusal by the Biden-Harris administration to participate in the memorial ceremony has only intensified the frustration of Gold Star parents who yearn for recognition of their fallen heroes. The absence of any communication from the current administration exacerbates their sense of neglect and disappointment. As the voices of the Gold Star parents become louder, it remains to be seen whether the administration will address their concerns and reach out to provide the support and recognition they seek.
