The accused, identified as Allison Havemann-Niedrach of Jackson, was taken into custody without incident earlier this week, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

Authorities launched an investigation into Havemann-Niedrach's conduct earlier this year, following reports of an inappropriate relationship with a student. The results of the investigation led to the filing of charges against her, including one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

At this time, it is unclear when the alleged misconduct occurred or the identity of the victim. However, law enforcement officials assure that the arrest was made to ensure the safety and well-being of the students.

Havemann-Niedrach is currently being held in custody, pending her first appearance and detention hearing at Monmouth County Superior Court. The specific date of her court appearance has not yet been disclosed.

Parents and faculty at Freehold Intermediate School are being notified about the arrest and charges against the teacher. The school district is said to be cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities in their investigation.

The allegations against Havemann-Niedrach are deeply troubling and represent a grave breach of trust and responsibility. The Monmouth County Prosecutors Office is expected to vigorously pursue this case to ensure justice is served for the victim and the community.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this case to come forward and assist in the ongoing inquiry.
