In the wake of numerous legal challenges, former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) chief Vince McMahon has reportedly been living a busy and seemingly unaffected life, according to sources close to him. McMahon, who resigned as executive chairman of WWE's parent company three months ago, is facing a lawsuit filed by a former employee alleging sexual abuse and trafficking, as well as a federal criminal investigation. However, McMahon has been seen traveling, dining out, and staying in touch with friends and associates, including former President Donald Trump.

NBC News and CNBC have spoken to 11 individuals familiar with McMahon and WWE, who shed light on how McMahon has been spending his time while the global brand carries on without him. These sources, including personal associates and company insiders, have chosen to remain anonymous due to ongoing legal matters and the confidential nature of internal corporate communications.

According to insiders, McMahon has had no contact with company leaders or figureheads since his resignation. Mark Shapiro, the operating chief of WWE's parent company, TKO Group Holdings, confirmed that McMahon is no longer involved in the company's operations. As a result, McMahon has not been in communication with his son-in-law, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, who serves as WWE's creative chief, or his daughter, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque, who, despite her previous roles in storylines, currently maintains no involvement with the company.

Despite the legal battles surrounding him, McMahon appears unfazed and continues to carry on with his usual routines. Sources reveal that he has been traveling, having recently returned from a trip to the sunny Turks and Caicos Islands and a visit to Italy. On his return to the United States, McMahon brought back puppies and kittens to be adopted by his friends.

While McMahon's legal matters persist, he has reportedly been seen dining with friends at restaurants in Manhattan, such as the renowned Italian spot, Il Tinello East. McMahon also continues to attend biweekly haircuts with his longtime barber and maintains a regular fitness routine with a personal trainer.

Interestingly, McMahon has also reportedly been in regular contact with former President Donald Trump, although the nature of their conversations remains undisclosed. Trump has a longstanding relationship with the McMahon family, having hosted WrestleMania events, engaged in a scripted "feud" with McMahon, and being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. McMahon's wife, Linda McMahon, served in Trump's Cabinet and is currently on the board of the Trump Media and Technology Group.

Regarding the ongoing legal challenges, McMahon's attorney, Jessica Rosenberg, declined to comment specifically on the personal aspects of McMahon's life discussed in the article. However, she stated that the allegations made by Janel Grant in the lawsuit are false and defamatory. Rosenberg expressed confidence in McMahon's defense and expects him to be vindicated.

Grant's lawsuit, filed earlier this year, accused McMahon and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis of sexual abuse and trafficking. WWE and its parent company, TKO, have stated that they take Grant's allegations seriously. Federal investigators have seized McMahon's phone and continue to examine the conduct surrounding Grant's accusations.

At this time, it is unclear whether criminal charges will be brought against McMahon. However, sources close to McMahon state that he is cooperating with authorities and believes that the civil case filed by Grant will be settled out of court.

Despite the ongoing legal turmoil, McMahon remains connected to individuals within the wrestling industry. He has maintained contact with prominent WWE superstars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena, both of whom have achieved success in Hollywood.

This is not the first time WWE has faced controversy under McMahon's leadership. In the 1990s, he was acquitted of federal charges related to a steroid scandal that impacted the wrestling world. In recent years, McMahon has faced allegations of sexual misconduct and extramarital affairs, leading to financial settlements. McMahon's daughter temporarily assumed leadership of WWE before his return, and he eventually orchestrated a merger with Endeavor Group's UFC to create TKO, with Ari Emanuel as CEO.

As McMahon navigates the legal battles ahead, the future of his involvement in the wrestling industry remains uncertain.
