In a scorching rally held in Las Vegas on Sunday, former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden's handling of the border crisis, referring to his actions as "bulls**t." As Trump took the stage to address a crowd of passionate supporters, he denounced Biden's recent executive order, claiming it to be pro-invasion, pro-child trafficking, pro-woman trafficking, and pro-human trafficking.

Amid the blistering heatwave sweeping the southwest, Trump's supporters cheered and chanted "bulls**t!" in agreement with his strong words. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also took the stage, receiving a similar response from the crowd.

Trump devoted a significant portion of his speech to the issue of immigration, labeling the border as the worst in history and describing graphic crimes allegedly committed by some illegal immigrants. Despite the extreme temperatures exceeding 90 degrees, thousands of supporters lined up to attend the rally, prompting Trump to joke about not wanting to lose any voters to the heat.

While some supporters sought relief from the intense sun and exited the event, a packed crowd remained engaged as Trump continued his address. The former president, who narrowly lost Nevada in the 2020 election, claimed that winning the state would ensure victory in the entire election. However, winning Nevada alone would not be sufficient to secure the Electoral College.

During his speech, Trump unveiled a policy change, promising to update the tax system in favor of service workers, particularly those in the hospitality industry. He pledged to eliminate taxes on tips, garnering applause from the audience.

This visit to Nevada marked Trump's first since being found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to hush money paid to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Nevertheless, those present at the rally rejected the guilty verdict and viewed it as potentially benefiting Trump's political standing.

The event formed part of Trump's three-day swing through the western states, including campaign stops in Arizona and fundraising events in California. The Trump campaign reported raising approximately $33 million over the weekend.

Nevada, a significant battleground state, remains crucial in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Recent polls suggest that Trump is currently leading in the state, with a Fox News poll showing him five points ahead of Biden among registered voters.

As part of his ongoing efforts to attract minority voters, including Latinos, Trump launched the "Latino Americans for Trump" coalition. The campaign aims to rally notable Latinos from various communities across the country.

Ahead of Trump's visit, the Democratic National Committee strategically placed billboards in both English and Spanish, focusing on Trump's economic record. The DNC accused him of implementing a "tax scam" that primarily benefited the wealthy and corporations, highlighting the need to prioritize working Nevadans' interests.

As the political landscape continues to heat up, with both major parties vying for support, Nevada remains a pivotal battleground in the quest for future electoral victories.
