Former President Donald Trump Rallies Supporters in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania

In an effort to rally his enthusiastic supporters and promote the upcoming 2024 election as a must-win, former President Donald Trump made an appearance on Saturday night at a fairgrounds in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Addressing a crowd estimated to be around 10,000 people, Trump touched on various conservative issues, including illegal migration and transgender athletes in women's sports. However, his main target of the night was President Joe Biden, as Trump continues to claim that the 2020 election was rigged.

During his speech, Trump emphasized the importance of removing Biden from office and portrayed the upcoming November 5th as a pivotal day for the country. The former president also endorsed David McCormick, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania's April 23rd primary election. However, he did not publicly announce his support for any of the three Republican candidates running to challenge third-term Democratic U.S. Rep. Susan Wild in Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District.

Interestingly, Trump made no mention of abortion rights during his speech, despite previously taking credit for the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. He has stated in other campaign stops that access to abortion should be determined on a state-by-state basis, a position that has drawn criticism from both conservatives and Democrats.

While Trump's visit to the Lehigh Valley has energized his supporters, it comes just days before he faces his first criminal trial in a New York courtroom. The trial revolves around alleged hush money payments to adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign, and its outcome could potentially impact Trump's political future.

Trump's speech resonated with his supporters, who chanted phrases like "USA," "We want Trump," and "Joe's gotta go!" Throughout the evening, he expressed his commitment to border security and his opposition to illegal immigration, highlighting concerns about violence, as well as the economic impact on Social Security and Medicare. He also criticized U.S. Steel shareholders' recent approval of the company's sale to Nippon Steel of Japan, an outcome that Biden also opposed.

As Trump concluded his hour-long remarks, he emphasized the significance of the 2024 election, referring to it as the "final battle." He vowed to fight against what he called the "Deep State," globalists, and the political class, while also promising to combat fake news media and "drain the swamp."

According to polling averages, Trump remains neck and neck with Biden in Pennsylvania, with a mere 0.1-point advantage for the current President. National polling indicates that Trump holds a narrow lead of 46% among respondents, with 45% supporting Biden and 8% remaining undecided.

Trump's visit to Lehigh County demonstrated his continued popularity among his base and reinforced the importance of Pennsylvania in future elections. State Senator Jarrett Coleman also highlighted the significance of the Lehigh Valley as a key region for political success at various levels.

Overall, Trump's speech served to energize his supporters as he laid out his vision for America and rallied for a rematch against Biden in 2024.
