**Federal Appeals Court Allows Temporarily Continue Trump's Tariffs**

In a pivotal decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Thursday granted the Justice Department’s request to temporarily stay a lower court ruling that had halted many of President Donald Trump's recently imposed tariffs. This move averts the administration's immediate plans to seek emergency relief from the Supreme Court.

During a Thursday press briefing, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized the ruling that halted the tariffs, calling it "judicial overreach" and part of a concerning trend of judges interfering in presidential decisions. The Court of International Trade had previously ruled on Wednesday that most of Trump's tariffs were illegal and should be stopped.

In another significant development, billionaire Elon Musk announced his departure from the Trump administration. Musk had played a crucial role in the U.S. DOGE Service, a pet project aimed at erasing waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government. While Musk and his team initially made a strong impact, they encountered substantial challenges over time.

Meanwhile, the administration faced setbacks on multiple fronts with federal courts ruling against the tariffs twice in a short span. Despite these legal challenges, the Trump administration expressed unwavering support for Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., even after a media report disclosed numerous errors in Kennedy's recent health report.

Additionally, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer voiced strong disapproval of Trump's contemplation of pardoning those convicted of plotting to kidnap her in 2020. In response, Trump indicated he would consider the pardons.

Amid these rapid developments, Leavitt affirmed that the U.S. DOGE Service's mission would persist following Musk's exit, and highlighted that the president's Cabinet along with Trump himself would continue to lead the efforts.

In other noteworthy action, President Trump pressed Federal Reserve Chair Jerome H. Powell to lower interest rates, reiterating his viewpoint directly during a meeting at the White House.

Lastly, calls have intensified for former first lady Jill Biden to testify before Congress regarding her knowledge of President Joe Biden's health while in office. Leavitt echoed this demand, accusing Jill Biden of misleading the public and stressing the importance of her testimony.
