## Elon Musk's Daughter, Vivian Wilson, Reacts to His Social Media Feud with Trump
Vivian Wilson, the estranged daughter of billionaire Elon Musk, appears to be quite amused by her father's recent public disagreements with President Donald Trump. Over the past few days, Musk and Trump have been exchanging barbs on social media, providing plenty of fodder for memes and jokes, and drawing the attention of Wilson. The 20-year-old trans model, who has been openly critical of her father in the past, particularly in an interview with Teen Vogue, seized the opportunity to express her thoughts.
Wilson has not hesitated to criticize the Tesla CEO-turned-Trump supporter-turned-advisor. After Musk announced on X (formerly Twitter) that his split from the Trump administration meant that the two no longer shared similar views, Wilson took to Teen Vogue and her social media accounts to share a "told you so" moment. Responding to a question from Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Versha Sharma about her reaction to her father's breakup with Trump, Wilson simply shared a meme of Squidward.
This succinct reaction encapsulated Wilson’s sentiments, but she continued the conversation on social media. On her Instagram Story, she posted a video of herself laughing and smiling with the caption, "I love being proven right." Furthermore, she took to Meta's Threads, where she wrote, "Such beauty in life" and followed up with, "The weather is so lovely today." Clearly, she is not allowing her father's actions to disrupt her own enjoyment.
Instead, Wilson has been enjoying a good time despite the social media scuffles. She posted several photos of herself at an Interview Magazine party, accompanied by drag icons Kerri Colby and Lexi Love, captioned with, "We can't let the girls fighting on twitter interrupt our soirée."
The public fallout between Musk and Trump did not come as a surprise to many. Musk, after contributing substantial funds to Trump's campaign and subsequently joining his administration as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), seemed on a collision course with the former president. Wilson, one of Musk's fourteen children, has severed ties with her father. During her Teen Vogue interview, she described the Trump administration as "cartoonishly evil" and expressed horror at its impact on various marginalized communities, including the trans community, migrants, and communities of color.
"It's terrifying. Every time I open my phone to read the news, I kind of just stare at the wall for 10 minutes," Wilson said. "It's horrifying what they're doing, not only to the trans community but also to migrants, to communities of color, to so many marginalized communities that are being systematically targeted by the new administration and having protections revoked."
