### JD Vance Urges Trust in Women's Voter Wisdom Amidst Gender Gap Challenge

In a recent interview, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance emphasized the need to trust in the decision-making of female voters as his party confronts a notable gender gap in the electorate with Election Day rapidly approaching. Speaking on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan," Vance shared insights from his wife, who advised him to trust the wisdom of women in determining what is best for their families.

Vance acknowledged the challenge laid out by a CBS News poll released Sunday, which illustrated the ongoing gender gap shaping the presidential race. According to the poll, 40% of registered female voters believe that the Trump campaign is overly focused on men's concerns, while 56% feel that women's issues are being insufficiently addressed by the same campaign.

This persistent gender disparity has been a focal point of criticism from various quarters, including former Rep. Liz Cheney. Cheney, who labeled Vance and former President Donald Trump as "misogynistic pigs" back in September, pointed to Vance's past controversial comments as evidence of his "real women problem." Vance's previous remarks about the country being run by "childless cat ladies" have sparked considerable backlash and were even referenced by Taylor Swift in her endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Despite this, Vance dismissed the notion that the Republican ticket faces a significant issue with female voters. On "Face the Nation," he contended that the GOP must make a compelling case to both women and men, affirming that, "where the chips ultimately fall" will be decided by the electorate as a whole.

Vance highlighted his wife Usha's influence as his "top adviser" and laid out his key messages for female voters. He stressed that Trump is committed to reducing grocery costs, addressing border security, and enhancing the safety of communities. "I think that we can make a good case to women, but I'm not going to tell them who they have to vote for. I'm going to try to persuade them," Vance asserted, reinforcing the importance of voter choice.
