### Musk's Super PAC Offers Cash Incentive to Identify Trump Supporters in Battleground States

Elon Musk is leveraging his substantial wealth to bolster former President Donald Trump's voter base by offering a financial incentive aimed at identifying likely Trump supporters across seven crucial battleground states.

The billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX has initiated a petition through his super PAC, America PAC, offering $47 for each registered voter who signs a pledge in support of the First and Second Amendments. The petition aims to rally support by collecting signatures from 1 million voters, potentially costing Mr. Musk up to $47 million if the goal is achieved.

The petition is being circulated to Musk's 200 million followers on his social media platform X, with the intent of identifying highly motivated voters. These individuals, having demonstrated their commitment by signing the petition, would then be specifically targeted by America PAC to rally behind Donald Trump.

To participate, signatories must provide personal information including their name, email address, cell number, mailing address, and details of their referrer. Although there is no cap on the number of referrals one can make, America PAC insists on verifying the information to prevent exploitation of the incentive scheme.

The $47 payment is believed to align with Trump's ambition to once again secure the presidency, symbolizing his bid to become the 47th president of the United States. According to federal law, while it is illegal to pay for someone's vote or their registration, offering money to sign a petition or to those encouraging petition signatures remains lawful.

By creating this initiative, Musk's America PAC aims to galvanize a significant voter base, potentially swaying the outcome of key states in the upcoming election.
