**Elon Musk Promotes $47 Referral Bonus to Drive Swing-State Voter Sign-Ups for Trump Campaign**
In a recent push to support Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced a $47 referral bonus. This initiative, organized by Musk's political action committee, aims to gather the personal contact information of registered swing-state voters who advocate for free speech and the right to bear arms. Musk highlighted this offer on X, the social media platform he owns, emphasizing the ease of earning money through referrals.
Musk’s promotion of this campaign follows his appearance with Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The targeted states—Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina—are seen as pivotal in determining the outcome of the presidential race, with Trump facing off against Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.
The petition, promoted by Musk’s America PAC, seeks the support of voters who back First and Second Amendment rights, though it lacks specifics on its delivery or demands. Instead, it focuses on collecting extensive personal contact data from respondents. Interested signers are funneled to voter registration links corresponding to the seven key swing states mentioned.
America PAC’s objective is clear: registering one million voters from these crucial states to pledge their support for constitutional rights. Notably, this campaign is exclusively open to voters from the seven targeted states, underscoring their anticipated impact on the election’s outcome.
This recent effort is not America PAC’s first foray into gathering swing-state voter information. The PAC previously faced scrutiny when state officials in North Carolina and Michigan examined whether its online voter registration links were misleading. The PAC had assured corrections would be made following these inquiries.
Musk, who claims to have founded the America PAC, has seen financial support from individuals connected to him. Although a federal disclosure report in July did not list direct contributions from Musk, subsequent reports are anticipated to provide updated financial details. Musk’s camp has yet to respond to requests for additional commentary on the petition.
Accompanying Trump at the Pennsylvania rally, Musk stressed the critical nature of the upcoming election for preserving the Constitution and democracy. The campaign’s petition invites respondents to specify their referrer’s contact details, though the mechanism for fulfilling the promised referral payments remains uncertain.
