### Elon Musk Responds to Chloe Fineman’s Tearful Accusation Over SNL Incident

Elon Musk has issued a response to allegations made by SNL star Chloe Fineman that his behavior during his time hosting the show in May 2021 left her in tears. Fineman revealed this in a TikTok video on Monday, accusing Musk of dismissing her sketchwriting efforts in a way that was harsh and insensitive.

In her video, Fineman recounted her experience, stating, "I stayed up all night writing a sketch. I was excited and asked if he had any questions. Instead, he looked at me like he was firing me from Tesla and said, 'It's not funny.'" Fineman added that Musk then scrutinized her script and remarked, "I didn't laugh once. Not one time," without any sign of joking.

Musk took to social media on Tuesday to address the issue, explaining the tension he felt during the show's preparation. "Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs. I was worried," Musk wrote on X. He expressed concerns about his performance, fearing it might be unamusing enough to "make a crackhead sober."

The incident adds to revelations from SNL cast member Bowen Yang, who mentioned on Watch What Happens Live in August that an unnamed host had made multiple SNL staffers cry before a table read due to his dislike of their ideas. Fineman identified Musk as that host, noting, "Maybe there's others."

Fineman decided to speak out after Musk criticized SNL in a series of posts on X, following a cold open spoof by Dana Carvey that Musk disparaged. While acknowledging that her sketch eventually aired and finding Musk funny in it, Fineman urged him for better manners.
