Double Homicide Leaves Community Shocked in Napa

In a shocking incident, two young women were tragically shot to death on Saturday evening in Napa, California. The Napa Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunshots in the 400 block of Riverside Drive around 8:10 p.m.
According to Detective Dustin Dodd, the victims, described as teenage girls, were discovered with gunshot wounds. Eyewitnesses recount a disturbing account of three girls, approximately 15 years old, arguing near some boats in the area. A dark car approached the scene, and moments later, five shots were fired. The witness, who bravely rushed to aid one of the girls, sadly witnessed her taking her last breaths.
One of the victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and back, while the other was hit in the abdomen. A neighbor swiftly brought the remaining two girls to safety inside her house. Tragically, despite medical attention, one of the girls succumbed to her injuries, while the other remains hospitalized.
The Napa Police Department has not released any information regarding a motive or a suspect description at this time. However, the witness informed authorities that the area has witnessed an increase in gang graffiti and crime activities in recent years. This devastating incident has left local residents shocked, as homicides in Napa are exceedingly rare, let alone double homicides.
