### Donald Trump Assembles Team for Second Term, RFK Jr. and Zeldin Tapped for Key Roles

President-elect Donald Trump, following his recent victory over Vice President Kamala Harris on November 5, is busy organizing his administration for his upcoming second term in office. Trump, set to become only the second president to serve nonconsecutive terms, has wasted no time in naming key appointments for his return to the White House.

Susie Wiles has been named as Trump's chief of staff, and New York Rep. Elise Stefanik is set to become the U.N. ambassador. Additionally, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is advising Trump on health-related appointments and may take on a significant role in the administration. Sources indicate that RFK Jr. is being considered for the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services or a broader advisory role involving health policy and personnel decisions.

Kennedy has been heavily involved since Trump's electoral win, frequently visiting Mar-a-Lago and participating in presentations concerning potential Cabinet and health-related appointments. He has spent substantial time with the transition team's co-heads, Howard Lutnick and Linda McMahon, as well as other influential figures such as Donald Trump Jr., investor Omeed Malik, Tucker Carlson, and Del Bigtree.

In another crucial appointment, Trump has chosen former New York Rep. Lee Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Zeldin, who ran for New York Governor in 2022 against Andrew Cuomo, accepted the position via a post on social media platform X. Trump praised Zeldin's strong legal background and commitment to America First policies, highlighting his ability to implement deregulation while maintaining high environmental standards.

Zeldin expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "We will restore US energy dominance, revitalize our auto industry to bring back American jobs, and make the US the global leader of AI. We will do so while protecting access to clean air and water."

Additionally, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed plans to overhaul the National Institutes of Health (NIH), indicating a drastic workforce change with the firing of 600 employees and their replacement on January 20. Kennedy emphasized the urgency of this restructuring during his remarks at the Genius Network Annual Event in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Moreover, Trump is expected to announce Stephen Miller, known for his hard-line immigration policies during Trump's first term, as his deputy chief of staff for policy. Miller previously played a vital role in crafting policies that led to the separation of thousands of families at the border, and his appointment will likely signal the continuation of stringent immigration measures.

As Trump prepares for his second term, these key appointments suggest a potent mix of experienced and controversial figures set to shape the next chapter of his presidency.
