### Lindy Li Criticizes Handling of Kamala Harris Campaign After Election Loss to Trump

DNC National Finance Committee member and prominent Harris campaign fundraiser, Lindy Li, provided a critical analysis of the factors that led to the disappointing outcome of Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign against President-elect Donald Trump. Speaking to Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Will Cain, Li attributed multiple issues to the campaign's failure, including the controversial decision by President Biden to support Harris as his successor, overconfidence in inconsistent polling data, and a delayed endorsement from former President Obama.

Li characterized the Harris campaign as an "epic disaster" and lamented the wasted financial resources, describing the result as a "$1 billion disaster." She argued that Harris's nomination was a misguided decision by President Biden, seemingly intended to undermine the Democratic Party's chances in what many believed was a crucial race against Trump. According to Li, if Trump was truly perceived as an existential threat to America, the party should have held a voting process to select Biden's successor, rather than prematurely endorsing Harris.

In her view, Biden's swift endorsement of Harris shortly after he dropped out of the race was a deliberate move to disadvantage the party. Li stated, "I actually think President Biden, you know, the whole endorsing her thirty minutes after he dropped out, I think that was a big F you to the party." She further suggested that Biden's endorsement was akin to "sticking it to the man."

Emphasizing her independence, Li insisted she was not on any Democratic candidate's payroll and aimed to reveal "the truth" about the campaign's downfall. She expressed frustration over the Harris campaign's assurance of a close race, which led her and other donors to raise substantial funds. Jen O'Malley Dillon, the Harris campaign chair, had promised a victory, bolstering donor confidence. As a result, substantial donations were made, yet the campaign ended in defeat.

Li also pointed out a significant delay by the Obamas in endorsing Harris, which she described as "the silence heard round the world." She suggested that Michelle and Barack Obama waited three days to endorse Harris, and posited that they were initially not inclined to support her until Biden’s unexpected endorsement compelled their hand. Li indicated that the Obamas had been considering other candidates, such as Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, before Biden's intervention.

Concluding her analysis, Li reiterated her belief that Biden's maneuvering amounted to sabotage, underscoring the frustration and sense of betrayal felt by many within the party. Fox News Digital reached out to the Harris campaign for comment on the issues raised by Li.
