According to a report by Politico, a number of prominent Democratic donors have allegedly provided funding to anti-Israel protesters who have recently surfaced on college campuses. The report suggests that these donors, who have also supported President Biden's re-election efforts, include well-known figures such as George Soros, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, David Rockefeller Jr., and Susan and Nick Pritzker.

The main organizations behind the anti-Israel protests at Columbia University and other campuses are identified as Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, with support from the Tides Foundation. The Tides Foundation receives substantial funds from Soros and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and it goes on to distribute money to left-wing causes.

The Rockefeller Fund is said to have donated $300,000 to the Tides Foundation in 2022, as reported by Politico. The Tides Foundation, in turn, provided $500,000 to Jewish Voice for Peace, an anti-Zionist organization that has been critical of Israel and the U.S. in relation to recent attacks.

The Politico report, titled "Pro-Palestinian protesters are backed by a surprising source: Biden's biggest donors," has attracted criticism online for seemingly confirming what some had already suspected. Several individuals, including politicians and commentators, pointed out that these revelations should not come as a surprise to those familiar with the influence of Democrat money in politics.

In addition to the college campus protests, demonstrators have also disrupted speeches and events involving President Biden and other prominent Democratic leaders. They have referred to President Biden as "Genocide Joe" and continue to protest against U.S. involvement in Israel's conflict with Hamas.

The Pritzkers, who are Democratic donors and owners of the Hyatt Hotel corporation, have also backed groups involved in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. They supported President Biden's 2020 campaign by donating $300,000.

Some Democratic donors have expressed concerns regarding the support given by entities like the Rockefeller Fund and questioned the allocation of grants to organizations like Jewish Voice for Peace, which they claim have shifted blame for attacks onto Israel and the U.S.

President Biden, addressing the issue of protests and antisemitism, affirmed his support for peaceful protest while condemning violence and lawlessness. He clarified that violent protests, property destruction, vandalism, trespassing, and intimidation are against the law and should not be confused with peaceful demonstrations.

Earlier this year, it was reported by Fox News Digital that a left-wing dark money group funded by Soros would provide bail and legal support for anti-Israel activists who were arrested for blocking major roads and highways nationwide. These demonstrations were organized by A15 Action, a group that coordinated a multi-city economic blockade in solidarity with Palestine.

The report highlights the connection between these anti-Israel protests and influential Democratic donors, sparking discussions and debates surrounding the involvement of dark money in political movements.
