In a shocking turn of events, Alexander Kise, a convicted rapist from Canandaigua, Ontario County, is now facing additional charges for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to murder three individuals involved in his trial. The targeted individuals include a judge, an assistant district attorney, and a witness who testified against him.

Assistant District Attorney Kelly Wolford revealed that Kise's girlfriend, Alydia Gater, and others were actively involved in taking affirmative actions on Kise's behalf. The startling details emerged during Kise's incarceration in the Ontario County Jail, where he directed Gater to hire a hitman to eliminate the judge. Shockingly, the hitman turned out to be an undercover New York State Police investigator.

According to court documents, the motive behind the murder-for-hire plot involved Xanax pills. Kise allegedly offered the pills as a down payment for the hit in exchange for the judge's life. Investigators uncovered multiple recorded conversations between Kise and Gater, discussing the plot and sharing personal information about the targets, including their appearances, workplaces, and addresses.

While Kise and Gater are now in custody, more individuals connected to the case remain under investigation. Wolford emphasized that this is an ongoing and extensive investigation, with uncharged individuals still at large in the community.

Kise's original trial concluded on March 15, where a jury found him guilty of rape and other charges stemming from an incident that occurred in June 2022. However, his sentencing for the rape conviction is still pending.

The New York State Police are expected to provide further information regarding their murder-for-hire investigation on Friday morning. Meanwhile, Kise and Gater will remain in jail, held without bail, awaiting further legal proceedings.

This shocking revelation of a convicted rapist allegedly orchestrating a plot to silence witnesses and a judge has sent shockwaves through the community. The case serves as a chilling reminder of the lengths some individuals may go to evade justice.
