**Conservative Lawyer Warns DOJ Employees About Resistance to Trump Agenda**

Conservative attorney Mark Paoletta, part of Donald Trump's transition team, issued a stern warning to career employees at the Justice Department, indicating that those unwilling to support the president-elect's policy goals should either resign or face termination. Paoletta, who previously served as counsel to Vice President Mike Pence and the Office of Management and Budget during Trump's first term, emphasized that career DOJ lawyers are obligated to implement the decisions made by the administration.

Addressing widespread concerns among DOJ lawyers about being asked to support policies they find unethical or illegal, Paoletta insisted that opposition to Trump's agenda would be seen as undermining American democracy. He noted that employees who engage in resistance against the president's lawful plans would face disciplinary measures.

Paoletta outlined several key objectives of Trump's forthcoming administration, which include mass deportations, ending birthright citizenship, pardoning and commuting sentences for January 6 defendants, and reversing perceived political persecution. He is actively involved in drafting changes to DOJ policies to align with Trump's priorities once he takes office in January.

In a related development, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former environmental lawyer and anti-vaccine advocate, is helping Trump's team by crowdsourcing names for over 4,000 appointee positions in environmental, energy, agriculture, labor policies, and other areas. Kennedy recently ended his independent presidential campaign and joined Trump with the mission to "Make America Healthy Again."

Kennedy launched a website inviting the public to suggest candidates for various positions. Among those gaining popularity for environmental roles are former Nevada City Mayor Reinette Senum and self-described forester Sterling Mantlow. While Kennedy's exact role in the Trump administration is yet to be clarified, he is reportedly reviewing resumes for top positions in the Department of Health and Human Services and the Food and Drug Administration.

On Monday, Trump selected Lee Zeldin as the administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If confirmed, Zeldin is expected to spearhead efforts to overturn several climate change regulations implemented under the Biden administration.
