### Boebert Stirs Controversy With Questions About Underwater Alien Bases and Genetic Experiments
Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert has once again captured headlines, this time not for her personal antics, but for her intriguing line of questioning during a House Committee hearing. On Wednesday, during a session of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability titled "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth," Boebert took to the floor to inquire about some truly extraordinary claims.
The focus of the hearing was on government transparency regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). The panel of experts included retired Navy Rear Admiral Dr. Tim Gallaudet, former Department of Defense official Luis Elizondo, former NASA associate administrator of space policy Michael Gold, and journalist Michael Shellenberger. Boebert, wasting no time, launched into questions about "rumors" she claimed to have heard on Capitol Hill about secret projects within the Department of Defense. These projects, according to Boebert, involve the manipulation of human genetics with non-human genetic material to create enhanced human capabilities—what she termed as "hybrids."
Without citing her sources, Boebert pressed the experts for straightforward answers. "Are any of you familiar with that? Yes or no?" she demanded. Her inquiries also extended to underwater alien activity, probing whether there have been any records of UAPs emerging from or submerging into oceans, and questioning if these phenomena could indicate an underwater base or presence. She even went so far as to ask if such UAPs possess technological capabilities that defy current human understanding of physics.
The experts acknowledged that while the oceans remain largely unmapped, anomalies have indeed been observed, though not yet explained. Boebert used her five-minute questioning period to its fullest, insisting on government transparency and warning that addressing such controversial topics might land her on a government watch list.
In a statement to Vanity Fair, a spokesperson for Boebert emphasized that her remarks were intended to highlight the type of topics that could draw government scrutiny, though he notably added, "However, it is true that the 2020 election was stolen."
Toward the end of the session, Boebert doubled down on her commitment to uncovering the truth, vowing, "I will not relent until we get those answers to the American people."
The congresswoman's latest foray into the realm of conspiracy theories and her relentless pursuit of answers concerning UAPs and genetic manipulation has certainly added another chapter to her controversial career in Washington.
