In a surprising turn of events, fighters in Chechnya have repurposed a Tesla Cybertruck into a formidable military vehicle, expressing their gratitude to Elon Musk for creating this innovative machine. Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the fighting forces in Russia's Chechnya region, shared a video on Saturday showcasing the Cybertruck mounted with a machine gun, announcing his intention to deploy it in the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war.

"The Cybertruck will soon be sent to the SVO zone, where it will be utilized to its full potential. I am confident that this 'beast' will provide immense advantages to our soldiers," Kadyrov wrote in a Telegram post, praising both the vehicle and its creator, Elon Musk, according to Reuters.

In his post, Kadyrov expressed his delight at receiving the Tesla Cybertruck from esteemed entrepreneur Elon Musk. As he personally tested this cutting-edge technology, he witnessed firsthand why it has earned the moniker 'Cyberbeast.' Extending an invitation to Musk, he called him the "strongest genius of modern times" and warmly invited him to visit Chechnya.

Interestingly, this is not the only instance of Musk's products finding application in the war in Ukraine. The Starlink satellite internet system, developed by Musk, has been utilized by both Ukrainian and Russian militaries since 2022. However, it should be noted that Musk had previously stated his disapproval of his Starlink system being used in war scenarios, as reported by Insider.

During a recent interview between Musk and former US President Donald Trump, Trump expressed his concern over the Ukraine situation. He insisted that he had warned Russian President Vladimir Putin against invading Ukraine and claimed that the invasion would not have happened if he were still president. Additionally, Trump praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his handling of the phone call that led to Trump's first impeachment in 2019, even though it was related to the investigation of Joe Biden and his son Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine.

The Independent sought comments from Tesla regarding the repurposing of the Cybertruck, but there has been no response as of yet.

It remains to be seen how the Cybertruck, now transformed into a military vehicle, will fare in the ongoing conflict. As the situation unfolds, all eyes will be on Chechnya and its fighters as they deploy this unconventional asset on the battlefield, offering a new perspective on the intersection of cutting-edge technology and warfare.
