### Buffs Triumph Over Texas Tech Amid Unorthodox Tactics and Projectile Chaos

In a highly unconventional matchup, Colorado University (CU) Buffs emerged victorious against Texas Tech in a 41-27 battle marked by on-field chaos and peculiar fan behavior at Jones AT&T Stadium. Texas Tech threw everything at the Buffs—from tactical plays to unexpected projectiles.

Amid the mayhem, Red Raiders coach Joey McGuire took to the public-address system to reprimand the unruly crowd after tortillas, water bottles, and even a vape made their way onto the field. Earlier in the game, CU's standout player Travis Hunter amusingly tucked a tortilla into his pants after picking it off the field.

Shilo Sanders, CU safety, also found himself dodging thrown objects and retaliated by hurling a water bottle back into the stands. Both teams struggled with penalties and officiating; CU and Tech combined for a staggering 23 penalties, totaling 186 yards.

Despite the disruptive environment, the Buffs maintained their composure, advancing to a 7-2 overall record and claiming second place in the Big 12 with a 5-1 conference record. This win marked the Buffs' fourth consecutive road victory, a significant feat since 1996. The Buffs' resilience shone through as they bounced back from a 13-0 deficit in the first quarter.

Offensively, CU's Shedeur Sanders connected with Will Sheppard for decisive plays, while their defense racked up 10 tackles for loss and six sacks on Tech quarterback Behren Morton. Amari McNeill, Nikhai Hill-Green, Arden Walker, and Keaten Wade were instrumental in CU's defensive dominance.

Texas Tech's initial aggression waned, and the Buffs capitalized, outscoring the Red Raiders 31-7 in the second and third quarters. Infamous for their penalties, Tech faltered under pressure, committing four crucial penalties in the early second half.

This victory keeps CU on track for a potential berth in the Big 12 Championship, demonstrating their ability to overcome both strategic and chaotic opposition. As Coach Prime's team continues its impressive season, CU's path to Dallas and a spot in the playoffs appears within reach. The Buffs proved adept at handling both the game and the unexpected challenges thrown their way.
