### Brazil’s Supreme Court Permits X to Reactivate Following Compliance Shift

In a significant turn of events, Brazil's Supreme Court has granted X the authorization to resume its services in the country after the social media platform reversed its stance and began adhering to court mandates. The decision marks a resolution to the ongoing dispute between Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes and billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of X, who had initially resisted the court's demands.

The clearance came from Justice Moraes, who acknowledged that X had fulfilled "all the necessary requirements for the immediate return of X Brasil." The social media giant had been banned in Brazil since the end of August due to non-compliance with court orders on hate speech moderation and failure to appoint a legal representative, as mandated by Brazilian law.

Musk had previously labeled the court's directives as censorship and referred to Moraes as a "dictator." However, in a noticeable shift in recent weeks, he began to comply with the rulings—blocking specified accounts, designating a local representative, and paying off outstanding fines. This compliance allowed Moraes to give the official nod for the platform's reinstatement.

In his ruling on Tuesday, Moraes directed Brazil's telecommunications regulator, Anatel, to ensure X was back online within 24 hours. This directive came shortly after Brazil’s top prosecutor's office provided its legal opinion to the court, supporting the platform's return—a crucial step preceding Moraes’ final decision.

With this development, X is set to re-enter one of its most significant and lucrative markets, marking a new phase in its operations within Latin America's largest country.
