**Biden Opposes Strikes on Iran's Nuclear Sites, Pushes for Proportional Response**

In a recent statement, President Joe Biden made it clear that he does not support military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in response to its missile attack against Israel. Speaking to reporters, Biden emphasized that while Israel has the right to defend itself, any retaliation should be proportional.

Before boarding Air Force One at Dover Air Force Base, Biden shared that the G7 nations collectively acknowledge Israel's right to respond to the aggression. "However, all seven of us agree that they should respond proportionally," he said.

The remarks come after Iran launched over 180 ballistic missiles towards Israel, a move Biden previously labeled as "ineffective." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Iran would face consequences for the attack, sparking speculation among analysts that Israel's countermeasures might target Iran's nuclear or oil facilities more decisively this time.

Biden also indicated that additional sanctions would be imposed on Iran. "Obviously, Iran is way off course," he noted, hinting at further diplomatic and economic actions. He added that he plans to speak with Netanyahu soon to discuss the way forward.

As the situation continues to unfold, Biden's call for a balanced response aims to navigate the complexities of international diplomacy while supporting Israel's right to self-defense.
