### Union Omaha Player and Family Injured in Bellevue House Explosion
A cooking mishap caused a devastating explosion in a Bellevue home, according to Bellevue Fire officials. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, left three individuals injured and required immediate medical attention.
Union Omaha, a local soccer club, confirmed on Saturday that defender Mechack Jérôme, who has prominently started 19 out of 20 games for the team, was among those injured. Alongside him, his wife and another close relative were also hurt in the blast. At the time of the explosion, there were seven people in the house.
All three injured individuals are currently receiving care for their injuries. Union Omaha expressed their gratitude for the community’s support following the tragic event and assured that updates will be provided when possible. They have also requested that the public respect the privacy of Jérôme and his family during this difficult period.
