In a significant milestone for the Trump family, Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, was seen arriving at New York University (NYU) on Wednesday to embark on his college life. Accompanied by Secret Service agents, the towering 18-year-old strolled through the downtown Manhattan campus with an air of confidence, sporting a casual look with a white polo, black pants, and Adidas Gazelle sneakers. Carrying a black Swiss Gear backpack over his shoulder, Barron first visited the dean's office before commencing his classes, according to sources.
Considering his high-profile background, it remains unclear whether NYU will implement heightened security measures for all students this year due to the presence of Barron's Secret Service detail. Nevertheless, sources have revealed that Barron will be residing off-campus, commuting daily from his father's Trump Tower building on Fifth Avenue in Midtown.
Reports confirm that Barron Trump will be pursuing studies at NYU's prestigious Stern School of Business, indicating a focus on business and entrepreneurship. Former President Trump expressed his approval of the choice, citing the school's reputation for excellence. "It's a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school," said the 45th president in an exclusive interview, mentioning that he himself attended Wharton but ultimately favored NYU's Stern School for his son.
The news of Barron's first day at college comes after his school choice had been shrouded in secrecy until now. Just last month, Donald Trump disclosed exclusively to The Post that his son, towering at an impressive 6-foot-7, would be attending a university in New York. However, he withheld the name of the institution. The former president acknowledged that Barron had received acceptances from multiple schools, emphasizing his son's academic prowess and intelligence.
Despite being thrust into the spotlight at a young age, Barron Trump has already exhibited an interest in politics, with his father acknowledging that the teen occasionally provides him with advice. Barron's educational journey begins following his graduation from the prestigious Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this year.
The Post reached out to NYU for comment but has yet to receive a response regarding Barron's enrollment. With his first footsteps onto the NYU campus, Barron Trump embarks on a new chapter in his life, blending into the diverse student body of the renowned university while pursuing his studies in business.
