### As I Lay Dying Faces Major Turmoil as Multiple Members Exit

In a significant shake-up, As I Lay Dying has seen the departure of drummer Nick Pierce, marking the third exit from the band in just a week. Pierce's decision to leave follows that of guitarist Ken Susi and bassist/clean vocalist Ryan Neff, leading to widespread speculation about the future of the metalcore group.

"After much thought, I need to distance myself from the band," Pierce shared in a brief statement. His exit comes in the wake of Ken Susi's recent announcement, in which the guitarist cited irreconcilable differences with his personal morals as the reason for his departure.

Joining the band in 2022, Susi acknowledged the collective past controversies surrounding the group, particularly after vocalist Tim Lambesis's incarceration for attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife. Despite these challenges, Susi had hoped for a fresh start with the band, only to find his ethical boundaries pushed to the limit.

"My personal morals have recently been tested to a breaking point, and it's now the saddest ending to what could have been the greatest second chance for this band," Susi lamented in his recent statement. The guitarist also voiced support for Ryan Neff, who faced backlash for being the first to step down.

Adding to the chaos, As I Lay Dying canceled a European tour, and tour manager Alex Kendrick also parted ways with the band. Despite this upheaval, the band and their label, Napalm Records, have remained silent.

Loudwire has reached out to Napalm Records for comment, but their inquiries have gone unanswered. The chain of departures casts uncertainty over the future of As I Lay Dying, leaving fans and industry observers waiting for further updates from the band or their label.
