**Arizona Man Arrested After Online Threats Against President-elect Trump**
An Arizona man has been taken into custody after allegedly posting videos online in which he threatened President-elect Donald Trump and his family, according to authorities. The suspect, identified as Manuel Tamayo-Torres, shared videos almost every day, accusing Trump and his family of kidnapping and sex-trafficking his children, as detailed in federal court documents in Arizona.
One of the videos was reportedly filmed at a Trump rally at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale on August 23. On November 13, Tamayo-Torres posted a video to Facebook brandishing what appeared to be a white AR-15-style rifle fitted with a 30-round magazine, making a menacing but somewhat unclear threat.
In a subsequent video posted on November 21, Tamayo-Torres escalated his threats, explicitly stating that Trump's "whole family is going to die," according to the charging documents. Authorities arrested Tamayo-Torres in Southern California on Monday.
He now faces one count of making threats against the president-elect and four counts of making false statements during the purchase of a firearm. Court documents reveal that Tamayo-Torres has a criminal history, including a felony assault conviction in 2003, which led to a five-year prison sentence in California. Additionally, his ex-wife obtained an order of protection against him last year.
Tamayo-Torres’ lawyer has not provided any comments regarding the charges or the arrest.
