**Majority of Americans Approve of Trump’s Transition into Office, CBS/YouGov Poll Finds**

A recent CBS/YouGov poll reveals that approximately 59% of U.S. adults endorse how President-elect Trump is handling the transition into office following his election victory. This approval comes despite a series of contentious cabinet appointments and the promise to introduce policies likely to significantly impact American life.

Conducted between November 19-22 and comprising a representative sample of 2,232 U.S. adults, the survey carries a margin of error of ±2.3 points. The data indicates that while a substantial majority of Americans support Trump’s transition, there is a notable weariness among Democrats, with only 44% feeling motivated to actively oppose him.

A deep dive into the poll shows strong support from self-identified Trump voters for his cabinet picks, which include figures such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Pete Hegseth. Additionally, some of Trump’s most debated policies still garner majority approval from the general populace.

As President-elect Trump rapidly assembles his Cabinet and West Wing teams, largely drawing from his campaign staff and former loyalists, the 45th president is gearing up to become the 47th. This assembly is perceived to be more aligned with Trump’s "Make America Great Again" agenda compared to his team in 2016.

Among his pledges, Trump’s plan to overhaul the Justice Department stands out, marked by intentions to pursue retribution against adversaries and enforce the deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants. While some Republicans have dropped hints—though sometimes conflicting—about the specifics of Trump’s plans, the broader implications of his campaign rhetoric continue to unfold as Inauguration Day on January 20 draws near.
