In an exclusive interview with ABC News ahead of the Iowa caucuses, Vice President Kamala Harris expressed her confidence in the Biden administration's prospects for victory in the 2024 presidential election, regardless of who the Republican Party nominates.

When asked about the administration's concerns regarding the GOP nominee, Harris confidently stated, "No matter who the Republican nominee is, we're winning. We're winning."

Addressing the possibility of former President Donald Trump as a potential contender, Harris reaffirmed her belief in Biden's ability to defeat him, stating, "If it is Donald Trump, we beat him before and we'll beat him again."

Meanwhile, the Fox News Decision Desk revealed that Trump achieved a resounding victory in the Iowa caucuses. Trump's win was announced at 8:31 pm ET, just half an hour after the caucuses commenced.

Trump expressed his gratitude for the early projection, stating, "It really is an honor that, minutes after, they've announced I've won - against very credible competition - great competition, actually."

Notably, Trump's victory in Iowa marked the largest margin of victory in the history of Iowa's Republican presidential caucuses, surpassing the previous record set by the late Sen. Bob Dole in 1988.

Following Trump's win, President Biden acknowledged Trump's status as the "clear front-runner on the other side at this point." However, Biden emphasized that the election would ultimately be a battle between "you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans."

Harris has consistently expressed confidence in Biden's ability to prevail over Trump in a hypothetical rematch, reiterating her conviction during an interview with CBS' Bill Whitaker in October.

When questioned about the close polling numbers, Harris remained resolute, stating, "We're going to win. Let me just tell you that. We're going to win... but I also have no doubt it's going to be a lot of work. And everyone's going to have to participate. This is a democracy."

As the 2024 presidential election looms on the horizon, Harris and the Biden administration remain steadfast in their belief that they will emerge victorious, stressing the importance of broad participation and democratic engagement.
