Tigard Homeowner Found Dead in Possible Hypothermia Incident

Tigard, Oregon - Tragedy struck a Tigard home this week as officials are investigating a potential hypothermia-related death, according to the Washington County Health and Human Services. On Monday, authorities discovered the lifeless body inside the residence, prompting concerns of a hypothermia-related incident.

Although the official cause of death has not yet been determined, Washington County HHS has stated that hypothermia is believed to be a factor. This unfortunate incident marks the first suspected hypothermia death in Washington County.

Meanwhile, neighboring Multnomah County has also experienced similar cases. Officials in Multnomah County have reported two deaths attributed to suspected hypothermia. The first victim, a man, was found in northeast Portland on Friday, while the second victim, another man, was discovered in the northwest area of the city on Saturday.

As investigations continue into these tragic incidents, authorities are urging residents to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during colder temperatures. This includes staying indoors, bundling up appropriately, and using heating devices responsibly.
