In a show of strength and solidarity, thousands of Houthi followers gathered in the capital city of Sanaa, Yemen, on Monday for a parade celebrating the terror group's recent attacks against the United States and Israel in the Red Sea. The Houthi supporters, many of whom were armed, waved guns and Palestinian flags as they trampled over Israeli and American flags, symbolizing their unwavering loyalty to the Iran-backed militants.

The rally, which has been ongoing since October 7th, also served as a demonstration of support for the Palestinian terror group Hamas, currently engaged in a conflict with Israel in Gaza. The Houthis showcased unity with Hamas, emphasizing their commitment to the Palestinian cause.

Adding to the tense atmosphere, the Houthis claimed to have attacked a U.S. Navy vessel in the region on Monday, an assertion swiftly refuted by American officials. Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, the Houthi military spokesman, stated that the group had fired a missile at the USS Lewis B. Puller, a mobile base supporting Navy operations in preventing Iranian-made weapons from reaching Yemen. However, U.S. defense officials denied any reports of an attack on the mobile base.

The rally and alleged attack come in the wake of American-led airstrikes in Yemen, targeting Houthi infrastructure. The United States and Britain have launched retaliatory strikes, destroying several missile and drone sites belonging to the group. These actions are aimed at dismantling the Houthis' military capabilities, particularly those that pose a threat to commercial ships in the Red Sea.

The attacks by the Houthis have already caused disruptions in global trading, as they directly affect a major supply route between Europe and Asia. The group has vowed to continue their assaults on ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden until the conflict in Gaza is resolved to their satisfaction, further complicating regional stability.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the terror group, expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing conflict against the United States and Israel, proclaiming that it will only strengthen their cause. He stated, "We praise God for this great blessing and great honor - for us to be in a direct confrontation with Israel and America," emphasizing their commitment to the fight.

As the Houthi followers rally and the group continues its attacks, tensions in the region remain high. The international community closely watches the developments in Yemen, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflicts that have far-reaching implications.
