33 million, according to the California State Bar. The Office of Chief Trial Counsel has stated its intent to seek disbarment of Drexel Andrew Bradshaw due to his previous breach of fiduciary duties with another trust client back in 2017.

The California State Bar filed charges against Bradshaw on February 2nd, putting forth allegations of professional misconduct and ethical breaches. The state bar specifically accuses Bradshaw of overcharging a client who was dealing with mental health issues and other problems. It states that Bradshaw "awarded himself $1.33 million in fees without authorization, which represented 53 percent of the entire $2.5 million trust he was hired to assist with." Furthermore, it points out that these fees included advance fees that significantly exceeded the initially agreed-upon amount of $7,500, eventually reaching a whopping $750,000. The state bar describes these fees as "wholly disproportionate to the services rendered so as to shock the conscience."

The legal profession is being closely watched as this case unfolds, as it raises important questions about the ethics and responsibilities of lawyers when it comes to handling clients' trust accounts. Trust is a fundamental aspect of the attorney-client relationship, and abuses of trust, such as overcharging clients, undermine the integrity of the legal system.

If found guilty, Bradshaw may face severe consequences, including disbarment. This would signify the revocation of his license to practice law and would likely have a significant impact on his legal career.

It is crucial for the legal community to maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct to preserve the public's trust. The State Bar will process the charges in State Bar Court, and the outcome of this case will be closely watched by legal professionals and the public alike.

In the face of these allegations, Drexel Andrew Bradshaw will have the opportunity to defend himself and present his side of the story. As the legal proceedings unfold, it is expected that additional details will come to light, shedding further light on the circumstances surrounding this case.

The reputation of the legal profession, particularly in San Francisco, is at stake, and it is imperative that such breaches of fiduciary duties are dealt with swiftly and appropriately to ensure the integrity of the legal system.
